Looking for a fun and easy outdoor activity that the whole family can enjoy? This neighborhood scavenger hunt is a great way to add some extra excitement to a simple walk about the neighborhood or trip to the local park.
Our family loves to go on afternoon walks, but walking the same routes over and over again was starting to get a little boring. And since we’re currently stuck social distancing our outdoor entertainment options are pretty limited right now. So we decided to come up with a neighborhood scavenger hunt!
This scavenger hunt is really great for everyone in the family. Since each word is accompanied by pictures little ones can get involved, and simple words are great practice for early readers.
You can also turn it into a compilation and see who can either finish first or find the most things before the end of the walk. I don’t know about you, but my boys love to turn everything into a competition! And you don’t have to limit the scavenger hunt to just your neighborhood. It’s also great for your neighborhood park or your next camping trip!
